It was in 1934, at the Berlin Motor Show, that the '500 K' appeared. The 'K' no longer denoted the short model, but the model equipped with a compressor. Hans Nibel with this car had made a masterpiece of aesthetics and nevertheless, a very modern car. The line of the '500 K' was made to symbolize the rebirth of the Kriegsmarine.
